Passion Match is a dating site for grown-ups who would rather have one good conversation than a hundred matches. Here's why we built it, and how it works.
Swiping got easy. Talking got rare.
Most dating apps make it free to say nothing. You match with dozens of people, send a “hey” and hear nothing back. After a while, nobody expects a message to mean much.
We went the other way. On Passion Match a message costs a little, so people think before they write. Fewer messages, better ones, and a real chance of a reply.
So we made every message count.
